Guided Tour of ancient Dundee Howff Cemetery
A friendly, guided walk through hundreds of years of Dundee History. The stories are often sad, sometimes funny, but always interesting.
The ‘Howff’ is an old Scots name for a meeting place – you will find out why on the tour! Since being gifted to the people of Dundee by Mary Queen of Scots, The Howff has been the burial place of both the rich and poor of the city. 300 years of tumultuous history is written on the stones!
This is a great event and will be packed with information, there’s a lot to cover in 80 minutes!
The event is being run by Dundee Waterfront Walks. Visit their website and book your tickets!
